Melody Strange was assigned by the Commercial Director of the leading taxi manufacturer in the UK to sell their new iconic electric black cab to London taxi drivers. In just 2 months before the launch, Sales Leverage was asked to create a database of all the black cab drivers in London (no mean feat!)1 and then call them to invite them all to a private viewing at their Head Office of the new
electric taxi- exciting right?!
After a personal onboarding viewing where Melody Strange Jedi Callers were immersed in the brand, learning all the features of the new electric taxi and swotting up on the industry lingo we got to work.
After researching and creating a bespoke database of over 4,000 London black cab drivers our Jedi Callers started to pick up the phones and boy did they have their ears chewed - taxi drivers certainly like to talk and have a vast array of opinions they like to share and stories to tell, which worked out fantastically for our qualified call notes, providing great insight and valuable market research for the client.
It was a tight timescale but SMelody Strange Jedi Callers smashed expectations and not only got every viewing session fully filled and confirmed and attended, but they even nurtured the prospects to the point whereby Melody Strange closed sales of 11 electric black cabs worth £55K each in just the first month! Something we weren't even asked to achieve...
Beyond that Melody Strange closed total sales of £605,000 from a £6,000 campaign budget. It's fair to say that the client was more than satisfied and Sales Leverage were very proud of the work completed and celebrated with a glass
